If any of you guys with '22 or older Firecracker JT's/JL's get a minute, could you please post your paint code for me? Dealership says no touch up paint is available for my '23, because the shades change every year regardless of the name staying the same.

Yeah, I saw those. Dealership said shades change from year to year.

The names might change from Jeep to Jeep and will change from Dodge, Ram and Chrysler but the paint code does not from Jeep to Jeep but may on the Dodge, Ram and Chrysler vehicles.

For example, my paint code is PRV, Snazzberry Pearl. It is also known as XRV Dark Garnet Red Pearl.. The PX8 Black Pearl on my JK has been called many names Dark Black, Pitch Black, Black Crystal, etc. and also has the codes X8 and DX8.

The shade from the factory should not change for the paint code but some shades weather worse than others.

Thanks Bob, I don't know why my dealership is under the impression every year of Firecracker is a different shade with it's own paint code.
