DIY Rear Seat Delete

Hello, first post here, but I had to resurrect this thread and say how good it looks, but also ask a question. I have two kids so thier booster seats make it near impossible to get to the underneath storage. That said. I see you took out the bottom tray under the remaining seat. Is it still usable at a seat even without the bottom piece?
I want to unbolt it and remove so I can still slide stuff under the rear seats if I wanted.

yea, you can remove it and not cause any structural issues. Im actually thinking of putting a sheet of metal on those raised nut things so i have a surface and they dont get in the way
