Hi, I will be driving up to Maine in late October, and going down some very remote gravel roads after dark all week long. I have a pair of aftermarket round lights mounted on my bumper that I plan to use to look out for wildlife while on these country roads, but I can't find the laws regarding whether they need to be covered when not in use on paved roads. Here in Virginia they used to require those lights to be covered, but that does not appear to be the case anymore (I asked a friend who is a State Cop, and he said it's fine - just don't use them on-road). I almost never see lights with the covers on around here. I have covers and will use them while driving up to Maine, but does anyone know the rules while in Maine? Thanks
