Yes you can keep factory screen/radio and run aftermarket sub and speakers.
id suggest a competent audio shop in your area.
I used creative audio for advice, quote, and install. Very happy with their service here in Arkansas.

Just installed mine. Pretty straight forward ish. I should have paid attention and not broken my dome light..

Smartest thing I did was cut the connector off my old soundbar and use it to wire in the ds19 bar.

Also for the love of God these companies putting RGB lights into things need to actually invest in the RGBs and the apps to control them.

Not necessarily plug n play but I expanded my ds18 system.
Turned out better than I thought but I clearly misjudged the amount of use and volume needed when I do need.
