So I notice the front tire edges seeming wearing down the tread only on the front and only on the outside edge! The guy at a certain tire store says “ yea they all do that”. The dealership says it’s the tires and nothing should be wrong it was just checked in the shop. What do you guys think?

Yep, normal. This is why you should rotate the tires periodically.

People who drive in a strait line can generally go longer between rotations than those who drive in town or on twisty roads. Fleet in town service vehicles are horrible since they make tons of u turns.

Rotate is crucial.. prevents "Cupping".. (look it up).. now what size tires? Wheels = stock or what spec? Air pressure = Chalk Test.. e.g.. running 35x11:50/17s AND Chalk Test indicates 27-28 psi is the best for consistent wear across the entire tread. Look up Chalk Test Utube videos.

Just seems odd to me having never heard of this and driving several 4wd trucks with lifts and big tires. Wonder if the tire brand matters?

Obviously pure ignorance.......

Its been a thing as long as I can remember and I'm pushing 50. Just think about what happens when you turn the wheel and weight transfers.....it all makes perfect sense!

Normal, front tires in trucks carry more weight and wear more because of turning………..
