Frontrunner racks installed front, and rear. Solid pieces of kit for sure. I've had it on for several months now without issue. Not a single leak.

Just be sure to measure, measure, mark, measure, measure, measure, mark, measure one last time *then* drill.

Side note: I did swap out the solar slide for now. I just couldn't get adequate exposure! I may revisit it in the future for v2.0, but for now I just have a 100W panel hard mounted to the front roof rack (installed in the picture below, but not visible).

When I get back to Tennessee we are going to have to go wheeling. Hopefully by the time I get back mine will have very similar mods as yours.

Looks like its been a year. What do you think of the Frontrunner extreme rack now? Any issues with the powder coat out in the weather? I have a soft topper so I need to carry a roof top tent and mount an awning to it over the cab.

Still loving it, honestly. I may do a long-term video review on it if I ever get around to finding some free time to film and edit.

I haven't noticed any issues with the coating that I didn't create, such as through drilling, or grinding for various attachments/clearances, etc. It's pretty freaking solid all around. The only thing I've noticed is I seem to be hearing more noise from the rack over the cab. Not wind noise, but creaking from the rack transmitted through the mounting feet. I haven't had a chance to track it down, but I have no doubt that it could be fixed by some WD-40 and a routine re-tightening.

All in all, incredibly happy with the setup, and I would do it again in a heartbeat over other brands that are available.

Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it. Planning on purchasing one soon. Some people have talked about problems with GPS and Sirus reception. Have you had any issues? Looking forward to a video. I have enjoyed your YouTube channel.

For sure! Thanks for checking out the channel (even though it has been pretty inactive lately...)!

I have had intermittent issues with the Sirius reception. It's hard to quantify, but I get maybe 2 or 3 brief random dropouts per day that I could reasonably say may be caused by the roof rack. Never any extended issues though. I never use the onboard GPS, so I can't speak to that. I use Waze (or Gaia, if offroad) through android auto.

Having said that, I did install an external satellite antenna. It's mounted to the rack, and the wires are run into the cab, but I haven't pulled apart the interior trim just yet to plug it up. I'll knock that out when I get the time, hopefully before the next video, and will be sure to make mention of that.
