You could always install the base plate on the truck, then load the bike into the bed and tow both. I am assuming you have a 10,000 pound hitch on your motorhome because the Gladiator is over 5,000 pounds. Most gas motorhomes have a 5,000 pound hitch and cannot tow a Gladiator.
