I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger and mounting three 1" x 6" x 5 foot long aluminum bleacher seats to the t-rails of my roll-n-lock tonneau as a place to strap down my lifetime cooler, action packer, duffels, maybe some firewood occasionally, etc.

Anyone do anything like this? Any thoughts? Anyone know how easy it will be to paint aluminum (I can get either anodized or mill finish)?

Here's a pic of the 1 foot sample the sent me. Strong. Stiff. Light. And cheaper than the 80/20 aluminum extrusion I was thinking of using.

It's real easy to paint ?
Oh no, does that mean I’m going to have a flaky peeled mess if I try to paint it? What about roll in bed liner?

You leave it unfinished, and it can help reflect any heat away from the deck and anything under or on top of it. Maybe???
