Good rust/corrosion

I’ve got a 2021 Gladiator Overland with 49,000 miles. I see several spots of rust or corrosion on the hood. How do I go about getting it fixed or replaced under warranty?

It’s covered under the 5 year corrosion warranty.

Make sure they look it over very carefully. I have the same issue with mine and had the dealer body shop look and document the issue just last week. I saw the hood , they also saw 3 of the 4 doors and all of the hinges as well.

Take it in to the dealership and have them take all the photos they want to document it. They’ll tell you what they want you to do after that.

My dealership did this and had me go right away across town to their auto body shop where they too took their own photos. Keep an eye on those edges even after you get your truck back. My hood and 4 doors were all repaired back in March 2024 and I got the corrosion AGAIN on my hood edge just 4 months later in June and both auto body and dealership fought it out as to who was fixing this.

Auto body claimed that they were told to “repair” the corrosion, not “replace” the hood. I don’t know who’s paying for what but I do know I’m getting a new hood this month.

5 year warranty and unlimited miles. If you can, wait until that warranty is close to expiring and then take it in. Get it fixed all at once because its bound to happen in other areas of the Jeep.
