Group Text Messages not showing?

Just wanted to see if this is just happening to me or if its normal.

When my cell phone is paired to Uconnect and I receive a text message only addressed to me...it show up, however if I receive a "group" text message (i.e more than just me in recipient list) it does not show up in Uconnect?

I’ll have to test it again but I believe it did show up for me. In fact, it got so annoying that I turned on the do not disturb feature with the auto reply text message.

With that, I noticed that the auto reply wasn’t sent to the whole group as part of that message, but as individual messages to each party. Those didn’t show up as individual conversations on my phone but I got a response from one party questioning who sent it (must not have my number saved as a contact).

I have an iPhone set to reply to the group but this didn’t apply to the group message with the auto reply.

It probably depends on your carrier. Some do group texts as MMS instead of SMS, and that may affect how they are handled by the Uconnect system.
