Harbor Freight sent out an email this morning with today's deal. They have their lights 35% off. I wanted a pair of their 4-LED spot/flood lights but they only had one in stock. I ended up getting a pair of their 6-LED spot/flood lights. They might be a bit bigger than I wanted but for the price they should work. I can always move them to my bumper or something in the future.

I had a $100 credit, so I bought their 6 LED spot flood last year. They’re insanely bright. I rarely use the spot function, the flood is amazing. I don’t really need either with the factory LED pkg, but they’re great.

Are the running lights on those a separate wire?

Oh yeah. I didn’t hook that wire up. I did buy that $60 harness though. It made the install easy to wire to my aux switches.
Ok just wondering if I could run the backlight thing into a different switch so they all come on at once. Gotta get the Cool Guy effect somehow. 😎

I think I read that you shouldn't run the spot and flood at the same time. You can probably do the running lights at the same time as one of the other ones. The wiring kit they have for this has a switch that only allows one option on at a time.

I have the small floods, just installed over the weekend. I'm surprised by how high quality they seem to be, very bright and heavy, not cheap feeling at all. Can't use them on a road they will blind someone. With the LED headlights the Jeep has the best lights of any car I've ever had.
