That’s probably a good option if it’s likely to be a 1 time thing. If not there are some you can get from big box stores that do the PA thing. Come with a mic and the whole 9 along with BT connection. Couple hundred bucks.
Yeah I got that from the air locker tubes in my Jeep just after I got it. They terminated under the passenger seat with nothing on them. Happened on the trail with my wife in the truck, of course. Thee may have been a few rude comments made. I taped em up with masking tape and a layer of...
I guess that’s an option but I’d really like to do a slightly more professional grade coating on the whole jeep. Something I can hook to a compressor and shoot myself or do a roll on. I’d think the air shoot will look better.
I’ve been looking at a couple different ones. I like MonstaLiner but I don’t think they have enough color combos out the gate and adding my own tint is a craps shoot on how it will end up.
Looking into Raptor now and kind of like it for its apparent ease of use and a vast array of color...
Your Rubicon didn’t come with a front camera? I thought they all do. Having said that. The front camera is pretty good but it doesn’t have the wheel indicators that the factory camera has. There’s a learning curve for wheel placement. I like having the rear camera as well but I have a bedcap so...
If they’ve never been off the vehicle they’ll take some force to get em off for the first time. Swing em back and forth with upward pressure. If that fails block of wood on the bottom of the hinge bolt and a DECENT tap with a BFH. Dont go crazy. Just need to loosen em up.
I’ve never fully broken a bead myself but I’ve burped tires on side climbs more than a few times and I’ve reset beads on other rigs. I think only 1 of those burps was outside of Superstition OHV. With the width and weight of these Gladiators and the fact that you’re going to HAVE to high side on...
Follow on question about breather tubes: Do they emit odors from the component they breathe for? I can’t recall if they do or not. I ran em up to the top of my roll cage in the LJ but don’t remember if they stunk it up. Top was off most of the time. I know the air tubes from lockers can emit...
Short answer for part of it is yes you can run a method bead grip. As stated, BFG runs on the shorter side so shouldn’t be too much of an issue running them on an X. Any decent tire shop or off-road shop will be able to tell you backspacing reqs for running what you want to run. Heck some of em...
Who has used what bedliner products on the OUTSIDE of their Gladiator? Not just in the bed but as an actual replacement for the painted body surfaces.
What did you use?
Did you thin it for a slightly flatter texture?
How has it stood up to trail use/abuse?
@cconner999 How have the Rock Krawler springs held up on that one? I’m sold on the arms and brackets but can find almost no information on their springs.
They probably have to say that so they don’t get sued and screwed. The bumper is sold as a weld together kit so I guess it all depends on your metal burning skills. Long as it bolts to the frame with decent hardware should be no reason you couldn’t jack from it.
Not gonna lie. I’ve run into and wheeled with people almost like that. After a while ya just roll up the window and turn the volume on the stereo up. :CWL:
That’s surprising!! Granted I haven’t driven through IL for many years and then it was all hiway but with the amount of waterways and lakes I’d figure there were some decent trails there.
Ice Cream Truck for sure!!!!! Self stocking freezer in the bed. Mostly with Rocky Road. Tell me you wouldn’t want to see an off road ice cream truck some of those days you’re out on the trail. Plus I get to blast the coolest tunes EVER!!!!!
