Have you ever changed out the body harness?

I went into some mud, got stuck, and got about three inches of water into the cabin of the gladiator, check engine light came on after that and then started blinking. I limped her off the trail and towed her to a dealer. Now the dealership says the water shorted out the body harness and they want to replace it… I’ve seen plenty of jeeps get water in their cabin and drained and not once have I seen or heard of anyone needing to replace the body harness.

Is the dealer dragging me along for a high paying job?
