Homemade molle style panel for truck bed

Followup to say that those galvanized side pockets have been great, with bags and small chairs held in place by them. The MOLLE rack...meh.

ah bummer, I was going to do this DIY rack this weekend. Oh well...

I guess it depends on what you want from it. I wanted to hang bags, but it's such a pain to get hands in there and snap the bags on. And they seem to shake loose after a while and fall off, even though I thought I snapped them fully. We have very little use for a shovel in my local terrain, so I simply carry a good e-tool and not a full size shovel. Stopped carrying a hi-lift and replaced it with an airbag. So if you want long tools like a shovel, maybe the panel would help you. For me...wasted effort.
