Hood/Bug Deflector for the 2026 Models

Wife got her new '26 "purple" Gladiator. One of the many things she wants me to get installed is a Hood/Bug deflector. From what I've read here the deflectors don't so alot of ..... "deflecting"... BUT will protect the leading edge of the Hood/Grill. Fine with me.

Would like suggestions for a "bolt-on" type as that's what I've had on previous vehicles. I see the OEM unit is "bolt-on" but are their...less pricey units? It appears most are "stick-on".

Bushwacker is a good tape version to start with that has a TPO texture type finish, Works very well with amor and cowl guards. I have one for over two years and still looks good.

Mopar version is more classic and retro if you ever going towards that theme.

Weathertech makes a really good one as well that is more in line with the mopar but looks better IMHO. If you decide to get rain guards and macthing mudflaps i think the weathertech is the way to go.

I have the the Weather tech on my 24 JTR. It has tape and sheet metal screws to self tap on the underside. It’s smoke black which works well with the black jeep. It’s not super noticeable. It protects the hood edge and seems to have stopped chipping on the hood itself. To protect the glass you’ll need tear offs or drive with the windshield down ‍
