Is turning down the gains on my amplifier the only way to reduce the volume range on my stereo? Level 1 on my stereo is a little too loud for conversation in my jeep. If I use bluetooth to connect my phone, I'm able to reduce the total volume from my system but i can't figure out how to do it on carplay. Anyone know how to do this w/out turning down the gains on my amp? I have a 5-channel amp and a pac amp pro ch41

I don't remember if the volume is still manually adjustable on the phone when connected to CarPlay on the iPhone, but if it is you could probably set up an automation for it to adjust to a preset level when connected to CarPlay.

It doesn't manually adjust on the phone like it does on Bluetooth. This problem occurs on everything, including the radio. I feel like if you can manually adjust the volume when connected via bluetooth, you should be able to do it via car play.
