California iKamper 3.0 WTB

Before pulling the trigger after reading some great reviews I wanted to ask around if anyone knew of a Socal dealer that can get these at a lower price than retail listing or does Ikamper not usually go on sale by dealers. I saw some posts last year with 5% discounts , not sure if that’s usually the max discount expectations? Any help or lead would be great. Thanks in advance.

I shopped around quite a bit and was only able to nab a few hundred off as well. Although we are selling ours, once you get some time with one it becomes clear how they can be so stubborn about their pricing versus many other options. You’d have to spend about 2k more to get something comparable quality-wise. Anything similarly priced feels like a ho-hum big box store tent simply reconfigured to sit on an integrated platform with a square form factor. The iKamper feels and behaves like a from-scratch purpose built item.

We've got the 2.0. The rates at which our 2 youngest boys have grown vertically coupled with my wife and I's horizontal growth exceeded our expectations : o ) As you know it's a king size footprint once opened. During our trips to CA/UT/TX it was perfect. We could all fit with room left over for quite a bit of gear. Our last trip down south though was cramped. We've since moved and have a lot planned with our new place before our next big trip in 2024. We for sure wouldn't be comfortable in it by then.
