So, having been a jeep owner for longer than just the JT there’s quite a bit by way of noises I can deal with, but after about 3500 miles now I’m getting to a point where I may have to get the dealer involved. Hoping someone has found a cure to a few of these. First issue is a glove box vibration on rough roads. It actually makes quite a bit of sound. I’ve looked at it several times, and the way it’s designed there’s really no adjustment I can make to it aside from getting larger rubber stoppers. Anyone dealt with this?
second is more than likely cold weather related. I bought the jeep in June and as we get closer to fall I believe the cooling temps are allowing the tops to shift a bit. Both the drivers and passenger sides are starting to make some noise over uneven roads like the gaskets are rubbing against each other. I have never taken the tops off so it’s nothing I did I’m certain.
Last is the sound bar. I found a YouTube of fixing the sound bar rattle by taking the top off and putting weather stripping in the voids. Can anyone confirm this works? It may help me kill two issues at once.
