I finally got my JCR Stubby front bumper. It’s as nice as expected. Packaging was well done.
Finish was great except for one small flaw on corner where it looked like it got a little banged around. Welds are great and structure look great. Nothing major to complain about in my opinion.
Fitment was good, it required the usual drilling out of the holes on the drive side frame horn because some of those are smaller then the others.
Overall the bumper is pretty good... it’s still growing on me.
it’s about 10inches in depth so I am not sure if this bumper could be called close fitting.
The advertised weight of this bumper is 52lbs and it weighed 53.8lbs on my precision scientific bathroom scale that I keep in my garage.
The major wins for me were OEM LED fogs fit and the steel Rubicon skid plate needs no modifications at all!
The only thing I did was shorten the fog light harness (I had a spare) by a good 2 feet. Otherwise pretty painless installation.
I am happy with product...I would recommend if you can deal with the lead time...having the bumper is what’s growing on me.
