JK Mopar steel bumper and winches help

Hello Jeepers I have a question.
I picked up a JK Mopar steel bumper for my JT and I know I need a JL/JT style winch plate but the bumper itself has an off centre fairlead. For easy install I assume I can get an off centre winch plate with fairlead adapter but I was wondering if anyone had luck with using a centred winch plate like the JL and trim the bumper?

If I recall correctly, that cutout is for both centered and off-centered winches. You just need the correct winch plate.
