JScan and FAD Disable

This is a more easily reversible version of the Spicer FAD delete kit. Evidently, it's installed in lieu of the FAD unit on certain trims of the JL/JT (Willys, Rubicon, 392). Anyway, I managed to get a hold of one, but now I have to figure out what to do next. It sounds like JScan will allow me to deactivate/disable FAD through the program, but the programmer mentioned that some users who have done this have experienced "configuration mismatch" which throws a code (B2204). He said there wasn't enough information from the users to determine if it's a consistent issue or related to certain factors. I've tried searching the groups and Google, but haven't found anything relevant. Has anyone here used JScan to disable FAD or know of someone who can shed some light on this? Worst case, I guess I can buy a Tazer, but it sounds like all that does is suppress the error code.
