JT Cargo Camera Kit

I am looking to find a camera that I can mount as a cargo camera. I can't find any out there. Also, how will it show up on my display? I have a JT Sport

There is a Cargo Camera input available for the 8.4 Uconnect head unit. ZAutomotive sells a front camera kit that connects to the Cargo Camera input. Using their instructions, you should be able to connect an analog camera to use. You will need Jscan, AlfaOBD, or a Tazer to activate the camera input on the head unit so it can be used. There are analog cameras and clones of the ZAutomotive kit available on Amazon.

I have not seen any Cargo Camera kits advertised or mentioned in posts here. ZAutomotive utilizes the Cargo Camera input to add a front camera for those without the factory camera. The Cargo Camera input is an analog input, and the only one available for adding a camera. The factory front camera and backup camera are digital inputs that are not accessible to use for other purposes.

Hear is the install on the ZAuto front camera. It basically tricks the 8.4 head into thinking it’s a Ram truck cargo camera. Obviously the wire run and mounting the camera will need to be custom for your application. Good luck and post up some pics of you do it.
