Hello folks. So, I have a 2020 Sport S Max Tow that I installed JL Rubicon take-offs on when I bought it (285 70 17 BFG KO2s). The Sport S was manufactured in SEP 2019 and has always driven really well - no steering issues whatsoever. The steering is responsive, etc. Drives fantastic and I never had the steering TSB performed.

Last week I also purchased a CPO 2020 JT Rubicon with 12,500 miles. It has the Falken 285 70 17s on stock JT Rubicon wheels. However, this JT drives like a boat. The steering doesn't seem as responsive and it feels as if though the steering wheel requires much more movement to execute a turn. Two days after I bought it, I brought it in for the dealer to perform the steering box/gear TSB and it still feels/drives like a boat when compared to my Sport S.

Any ideas?

I know I'm talking two different JTs with different tires and suspensions but man, what a difference. Could it possibly be that the JLR take-offs I installed are just that much lighter than the JTR's? Could it be the Falken tires vs. the BFGs on the Sport S?

I do plan to swap the tires/wheels between the two to see how they drive once I get a hold of enough jack stands.
