I have an Overland without the trail rail system. I installed the literider cover when I got the Jeep. I’m thinking of adding the trail rail system but wanted to know if there is a way to keep my existing tonneau cover on the Jeep or do I need to get a new one that’s compatible with the trail rail system?

Access sells the clamps that work with the trail rail system to be able to keep the cover

note: cheaper trail rails if you do it yourself. You can paint them to match your truck. This video helped me.

My uncle would like that diy project when he retired! He just got this Gladiator as his early retirement gift and already ordered bumper and tires from 4Wheelonline. Getting ready for a trip this weekend. He's been looking for mod ideas for the bed.

I bought a used one just the opposite way. It was set up for the trail rail and I don’t have the trail rail system. Called Access and they sold me the proper clamps. I believe it was around $25 shipped to my door and I had them in a couple of days. Definitely call them and they will get you fixed up.

Super easy to do it. I highly recommend cleaning all the oils and stuff off of it on the outside, as well as on the inside because the paints not gonna stick if you don’t, also sanding it down. He can find paint that will match the body. I like the unit that has no holes in the back the solid back. I just think that looks better, but the holy back one is perfectly good to use. I’m sure he’ll enjoy this project!
