To clarify, I haven’t changed anything, I just removed the plastic cover to have a look, I haven’t changed or messed with anything I just noticed this when looking at how pipes are routed…

So that connector (silver part) is made by HENN (Austrian). I design oem induction piping... they are known for have a "rocky" connection. It's normal. If you take it off, just make sure the seal is well seated back in it's groove and rub just a touch of soapy water on the seal before re-installing because the seal easily rolls out and you will have a boost leak.
