Making Jeep Doors Quick Release

Just finished a upgrade, I removed metal bolt from jeep door check hinge and installed a 1/4 inch pin with ring so I can pull up an remove door, all bolts removed and they will be left out, pin is all you need, I painted the bracket that the hinge and pin goes through!!! Best up grade yet!

It looks really nice and would be super convenient! Just a few questions. was that the original bracket the that came with the jeep? What is the pin size? Did you just drill the original pin out? Is there any rattling?
