Ordered a max tow. Trying to figure out tires. I bought this truck to do truck stuff. Tow, Haul, Grid Roads, Dirt Roads. None of which I would call OffRoad.

I want something more aggressive looking that would be better on secondary roads while trying to keep MPG, Tow Capacity etc in check. Would a 10 Ply 255/80/17 be best? AKA Pizza Cutter

Give me some recommendations...

35x10.50r17 has been a pretty popular choice on this page.

Just remember if the tires have an increased diameter, you have changed things and lowered the tech. max tow wt. but that is mostly due to causing overheating when going up an incline in, I forget what temp. So you are probably good as long as you're not trying to go up a mountain in the height of Summer.

285/75/17, roughly a 34” tire fits the stock wheels and isn’t too wide. I ran them on my stock max tow and had no issues. I have since installed 1.5” front spacer and .75 rear spacer I prefer the look. As far as towing goes you can definitely tell a difference in power from the stock size tires.
