Any update now? LolStandby
Yeah they wont become available anytime soon they had them on their website a couple months ago and then they took the page down,i guess they dont wanna make them, such a shame knowing they had a very good looking product that i qas gonna buy but they are taking their sweet timeSo just read almost every post in 27 pages. I feel like I got the condensed cliff notes version of the emotional rollercoaster ride. Wow. Even without the actual year long rope a dope, by page 27 I still feel strung along. Someone send me an IM if these things ever actually become readily available. Anyone here remember the Magpul Masada drama? Im having deja vu.
I have no problem with people who make that decision, and I certainly don't have a problem with someone saying "I'm done waiting" as you have said. That's your right as a consumer.i just don’t understand why folks want to support a company that has repeatedly lied about a release date. I know I will not be purchasing from them, it is simply poor customer service when you treat potential customers this way.
Agree 100%.Jurfie….although I value everyone's input on this forum, the response from @Maximus-3 is part of the issue, or lack there of, I think that is the root of all the backlash for this site sponsor, they have made repeated claims on release dates (not specific dates, but general timeframes) and have yet to meet any of them. One of the premises of good business is, do not string the customers along too long, they will lose interest or think that the company and its products are not up to par, or riddled with issues. Not saying that this is the case here, but raises concern.
That's fair. And more than some members are doing. Now I wont speculate on cause,
Agree 100%. There are a myriad of possible reasons and while it would be nice to know the reason, that is up to @Maximus-3 to let us know, if they choose to. Given some of the treatment they've received in this thread, I'm not surprised they aren't jumping at the opportunity to do so. Is that to their detriment? Perhaps, but that is their right (just as it is anyone's to choose to buy elsewhere)....as that list could be exhaustive, like supply of bulk material to manufacture, to lack of good personnel to work the production line (some people are making more on COVID relief funds) and do not wish to return to the jobs they once had, but regardless....the indication of release date rest solely on the management and upper echelon of the company and yet they remain silent since Aug 13 when they said "standby", and this is 10 months since they started this thread.
I'm hopeful this time has been spent making further tweaks to the design to accommodate additional features, accessories, engineering efficiencies, etc. to make this even better than what we've seen thus far. I'd rather a manufacturer get it right from the get-go than rush (haha, I get the irony in that comment) a sub-par product to market only to release an "improved" version a year or so later and annoy all those who bought the original.I'm not saying that this (lack of solid marketing and customer service) will deter me from purchase, as I still think that if the product is anywhere near the quality that was identified in the SEMA2019 video I saw it is still the front runner for rack options, and will provide me with exactly what I want. I am "patiently" waiting release as this is all we have at this point.
Agreed.I think you're taking this way too personal.
Im not in manufacturing so not sure what level or what percentage needs to be made in the USA to claim American made but the above is from post 1 of this thread... just saying. We are Maximus-3.

They stated in this post that they are in production so not sure where you are getting your info....regardless they just need to be honest with this forum and potential customers. I'm not saying that they were not honest at the time of creating a post, things do happen in the middle of production that will put release back, and I get that, we (potential customers) would just like to get an updateYes their website states that they are a "manufacturer" but there are plenty of companies who make the same claim but in reality it is never their intent to actually do full blown production. They design and "manufacture" an idea into a prototype, float it online, at industry shows and to people of influence in hopes there is significant interest. From there they hope to sell the idea and patent or at least the manufacturing rights to a larger company who already has production capacity and who can do it at a price where there is still margin when its sold at retail. I agree the prototype looked fantastic but it was a 1 off handbuilt piece where the cost to actually make it wasnt a consideration. I have to believe Maximus 3 was/is hoping one of the big boys like Smitty Built would come knocking and want to buy their design. Since that hasnt happened and M3 still isnt producing it, either M3 is still shopping it around or no one feels like theres profit in it on a large scale. Lots of cool stuff never makes it to full production due to cost of production especially for a relatively niche market item.
