I removed my Mopar crossbars before I sold my JL so I can use on the Gladiator. Have some slight concerns about using them on the freedom tops. Would only be for the occasional 8 ft lumber 4x4 etc I would be hauling. Anyone else have this set up? Should I be worried? Thanks

I've had the Mopar crossbars on my JT since I bought it 12/2020. I haul 2 kayaks (120# total) on it often and have never had an issue.

The manual says not to attach the crossbars to the Freedom tops. Only attach to the back fixed hard top. That said, others have done this without issue. YMMV
