Mopar Satin Grille with Front Camera

Hello everyone! I’m finally getting around to joking the forum after I got my 20’ Gladiator LE in August. I had an 18’ JL Rubicon that I loved that was totaled by a Cobalt because the driver was reaching for his phone and he hit me head on. I decided to go with the Gladiator and liked my Satin Grille on JL. I wanted to know if anyone has had luck installing a Mopar grille on the Gladiator, especially with the front camera. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I believe the grills are a bit different if you have the front camera

I know the JL and JT grilles are different, I just thought the vents are larger on the JT and that was the only difference.

In the vendor marketplace, one of the vendors had a link to their site for the Mopar satin grill. I asked if it would work with the camera and got no response. The thread was locked soon after. I am going to do some research next week and will post up.

All of that vendor’s posts are locked. Thinking they are no longer vendors is why. With no response from them, that’s probably a good move.

The Mopar satin grille works, you just have to change out the center insert with the camera into the new grille. Did mine today was easy, the only thing the new grille did not have was the threaded inserts the camera screws into but you can just take them from the original grille and move to the new one.

Was an easy process once you figure out how to get the center insert out.

This is perfect! Thank you guys. How did you exactly transfer the inserts? I though they were different sizes between the JL and JT? You put in the JL Grille right or is this the Gladiator grille that has to be painted or doesn’t have the rubber weather strip on the top? The grille openings look larger.

It said it was specifically for the JT

Thank you! Can you verify that it came with the weather strip across the top of the grill and nothing else was needed. I know the grills that are a shell have nothing with it.

I basically just had to install the camera grill insert and swap the lower body painted trim piece and that was it. Either way whatever parts you might need can be swapped from the original grill. Nothing else had to be purchased.

Thank you. I’m going to order it then. It probably had the weather strip on it then if you just needed to change out the camera insert. I’m going to have to do that too
