Mopar tonneau with drop in bedliner

Hello all

I have a new to me 2020 Gladiator and it came with the factory mopar roll up tonneau but no spray in liner. I opted for a drop in under rail rugged bed liner and tailgate liner but once I installed the liner I realized the tonneau will not work with it. The problem is that the tailgate cover has a lip on it that seems to have been made for the gladiator but because it came with rail protectors it doesn’t seem to fit.

Has anyone had a similar situation? I am either going to cut the tailgate liner and put it back on or figure out how to get the rail protector off, put tailgate liner on over that lip so it sits flush, and then put it back on and try..

P.S. is there supposed to be screws in the 3rd pic? Mine has holes there but no screws and it seems that’s what helps secure the drop in liner

In your third picture, the holes are for a push pin that secures the liner
