Some of us didn’t want the rear seat storage that came with the bed group...I particularly wanted the inverted outlet for power only. I did like that Jeep added the open and unlocking storage under the seats. To me that’s a plus, as I use for groceries and bagged items.

I added this lockable flat pistol storage box just by using the existing holes with longer hardware. Comes in handy and it’s very secure.

Do you recall what specific size and type of hardware you used for this? I’m looking to do something similar.
It's likely a M6 or M8 size. Pull one out and take it with you to the hardware store to confirm.

I don’t remember off hand, maybe 8mm
You could pull out one of the screws thats currently holding the storage bin to match up at the hardware store too. You’re going to reuse those existing mounting locations any way.

AWESOME Idea !! What exactly were the components you used ? I need to do the same, and didn't want to eat up the center console for our pistol storage !
