Hey everyone,
I am new to the Jeep Community as of Friday. My wife did a lot of talking and decided we would get a Jeep Gladiator for our son to drive in high school. He is currently 7, but I wanted to be able to build it with him as he grows and the Jeep sort of grow with him. He has wanted a Jeep since he was 3. Always loved them, and I have to admit I wanted one when I was a kid too. So, I'm wanting some advice to get started. I'm kind of lost in all of the aftermarket and don't want to buy junk for him to have to replace once the Jeep is his. I'm looking at a 3.5" lift and possibly 37's, but at least 35's. We will eventually do things to possibly create an overlander, because my son and I have already been talking about attempting the Rubicon Trail once he's in high school. So I will want things that can withstand the trail. So any suggestions on lifts and overlanding equipment will be welcomed. I plan on putting the build in the builds sections as we progress. We bought a 2021 Sport S pictured below. It is still completely stock and will be a little while before we get to building. I just need to have an idea as to where to start. I've always been told the Jeep community is like no other, and I'm already finding that out.
