Im trying to disconnect those pesky plugs in order to connect the bypass cable and use the jscan, but my hand is a freaking mess. I am unable to disconnect those 2 plugs .....Can anyone provide any tips or something about how to get to unplug them?

Thanks.

Not a lot of space to work with on my 2024, I just did this yesterday after working on it off and on for a few days of contorting, cursing, and scraping my hands. Thanks @Janster for encouragement. You can do this.

Crawl under there on your back looking up. A bright head lamp helps. Remove the knee panel underneath the steering column. Seat all the way back. For more room to get under there, unhook the driver door cloth cable and take out the bolt that holds the doorstop to the body, as you would do if you were taking the door off. Medium sized flat blade screwdriver with thin narrow blade used to reach up and hold the tab depressed, while reaching in there with the other hand and give a gentle tug on the cables. Maybe try to wiggle the connector around a bit while pulling. Make sure that screwdriver blade stays steady holding the tab completely depressed, and that it doesn't slip on you. It is a struggle, although if the screwdriver is properly pushing the tab in as far as it goes, they should pop right out. Pull straight down, gently. I suggest you get a Zautomotive extension cable to plug back in so you never have to reach up there again.

This was what mine looked like, impossible to get more than one hand in there. If yours does not have that black bar (red arrow) then you probably can get two hands up in there to work. Green arrow is where the connectors are. Blue arrow points to the amp for the alpine premium system. Good luck and try using a thin set of work gloves or a set of these:

Thanks!!!!!! I was able to do it. Theres no way 2 hands can reach IN there tho... I was able to Grab the cables with a plier and with one hand push the tabs and the other, outside, use the plier to pull the cables slowly..... But your pic helped me accomodate better. My back is not cooperating these days and I was unable to see all the way in there...

Thanks!!!!!!!!
