My GF and I went last weekend for Ocean City Maryland's Jeep Week for the 2nd year.
It seems to be getting bigger every year. This year the Beach Crawl sold out all 4 days which didn't happen last year. We booked too late so didn't get to do the Crawl but luckily since our hotel was on the Boardwalk, we were able to watch the parade of Jeeps each morning. I was fine with skipping it b/c I got to take pics and video with my new Drone I'm in love with. Even though I'd love to post all the individual videos, I think that would be obnoxious and self indulgent, so I'll just post the edited YouTube video instead. I'm very proud of how it turned out. I'm a novice in the Drone and YouTube game, but like Hannibal used to say, "I love it when a plan comes together"

I'll post pics of the cool Jeeps we saw there as well later.

I'd love to go, but OCMD is so over priced for accommodations. $500-700 per night at the Hilton........yet I can stay on Waikiki beach at the Hilton Hawaiian Village (a 22 acre beach front) resort for $249 a night.

My wife and I went for the day Thursday. We did the obstacle and the very underwhelming jeep show at the convention center. They said since they didn’t have many jeeps at the obstacle course we could go as many times as we wanted. I was happy with that b/c for the 70 something we paid for it, it wouldn’t have been worth it. It was fun with the kids, but it didn’t seem like there were as many Jeep’s as I thought there was going to be, but it was also only Thursday. I imagine a lot more people came Friday for the weekend. They had hardly any vendors at the convention center. I don’t want to sound like a complete Debbie, but the Jeep themed stuff was underwhelming. The time with the family was great. We drove on assateague for the majority of the morning and hung there. I wish we would have gone to the smoky mountain Jeep invasion instead. Seeing jk gear and gadgets recent video, I was like holy crap!!!! Insane how big it seemed. We will be going there next year instead. And @Minty JL you're right about the prices. Luckily we have family members that have places down there. But we only live two hours away so it’s not a bad day trip! It’s ridiculous how much some people will pay for a week there.

There are plenty of other spots for $100-$200 per night in town. While not as nice as a Hilton, they'll do for a few nights.

@Jglad15 - we went to the Convention Center on Friday and they had quite a few Jeeps and vendors. I think you might have been underwhelmed bc things don't seem to get into full swing until Friday. The only thing I didn't like was they were charging $15 just to walk the Convention Center parking lot. I don't think they did that last year. Luckily we snuck in an exit and avoided paying that.

Nice video!

Any idea what street they start the beach crawl? I know it is all down at the inlet area, just curios how long the Jeep parade on the beach is. My in-laws have a house in OCMD so we were down there for the week leading into Jeep weekend, but had to leave Saturday since the kids started school on Monday. I looked into buying the passes from the website, but didn't think it was worth it based on the cost, since I already have an Assateague OSV permit if I want to spend the day on the beach with my Gladiator.

Definitely got to see a lot of cool Jeeps riding around even without walking the Convention Center lot.
