OEM LED fog light oreintation

So I just ordered a bumper which its the Raptor Magnum RT Stubby. I was checking out the instructions and then noticed something in their pictures and now i ahve gone down a rabbit hole. They show the OEM LED foglights (what i consider) mounted upside down (pic 1). Then after further looking i see a customers picture on Quadratec (pic 2) and they are mounted the same way. Am I missing something here or would this not blind oncoming traffic?

You are correct! Someone messed up big-time. Yes, they'd not only not help the driver, they'd blind others.

Riddle me this then... Two different style led for thr jl/JT... The one with 2 "eye lids" is what I have bought. But which way is right?I assumed to jabs the brand on the lens facing upright... and someone explain why 2 different led fog light housings lol
