Ok, So I have so far only replace the front upper dash speakers with another set of 3.5 speakers. This did improve the sound. Everything is still stock power wise, and the rest of the speakers.

I have an old 10" sub laying around here at home, and a small amp. I am wanting to add a little low end to my jeep, so I am thinking about building a small box for this single 10" sub. I am a little confused on how I would wire the amp up. I only see that it has line in RCA connections on the amp. What all do I need and where do i tap and run wires from etc? Any help would be appreciated. Once I figure out if I can use what i have, then I will start to design the box. i dont want to have to really buy any new equipment, as my funds for mods are pretty slim. Thanks JB.

Will either need a Line-out converter that you will tap into speaker wires located behind the passenger lower B-pillar plastics, right about where the rear door strap and power harness is. If you pull out that entire plastic piece, its easy to get to. You can search for the wire colors you need to tap into.
If your amp supports direct high input, you can do that and skip the LOC. (Some amps support RCA high level inputs, some have direct wire connections. Speaker to RCA adaptors can be purchased on amazon cheap)
As far as power, direct from battery, ground, anywhere back by the amp, I use the seat mounting bolts.
Hopefully your amp has auto-turn on, if not, you will either need a switched remote turn on lead or something else to trigger it.
You can skip the RCA and turn on issues and just get an LC2i, but those cost 100 bucks or so.

You can use something like this…

Scosche LOC80 Line Output Converter Adjustable Amplifier Add On Module for Car Stereo, 2-Channel Speaker Wire to RCA Adapter https://a.co/d/c8X8vbT
There is an option for remote sensing to control the power to the sub.

…and tap into the speaker wires in the overhead sound bar.
There are other threads on here about adding a sub at or near the factory location for more details on running the wiring, and where to get power, etc.
