Oregon Coast - South Jetty at the Oregon Dunes

Had my first chance to take the Jeep out on the beach at the South Jetty at the Oregon Dunes. Weather was pretty chilly, so kept doors and top on. Found a nice spot and let the dogs run and did our best to wear them out. Getting out to the beach ran through half dozen, what I think were Vultures just hanging out. Caught one taking flight as we headed home.

Looks like it was a fun trip! I spent a few days last week at Siltcoos OHV (just south of South Jetty ) and enjoyed the scenery.

Do you mind sharing how you have your flag mounted? I ended up going with a hitch mount for my dune whip but would prefer to mount up higher like yours in the future.

@JT4JT I'm about 1 week away from our trip back to the Oregon Coast! Looking forward to taking the dogs and my Jeep back to the beach.

I went with the Quake Offroad Antenna Brackets for my setup. I found a used set from a member here. They are solid though they do move the tonneau cover just a tad bit, it notice it not sure anyone else would though.

Did you enter the beach from the Siltcoos Beach Day Use area? We entered up at the north side at South Siuslaw Jetty, we used to camp and ATV out of Honeyman for years.
