I am not seeing the 13.8. I am seeing 14.7 all day no matter if you are trying to climb a hill or go to grandma's. I have gigs of data logs at 14.7. Once a machine is changed over to accelerate with and AFR of 13:1 or 12.X:1 most people are pretty pumped, then you adjust timing and their hair if they have ot blows back. I was doing calibrations before ethanol in your fuel was common and I am pretty smitten with SAE units to.
14.7 is only possible with E0 fuel. 14.1 is the standard if you tune in AFR.

Can you post up some screenshots of your logs? If you use HP Tuners you know that AFR isn’t even the calculation used in the tuning itself.

I wonder why your data is different than mine. If you have E0 fuel it makes sense.

I’ve tuned 40 of these in the past three months of all year ranges and I’ve only seen FAR’s within the tune itself of .0720 which translated to AFR is 13.8. If you’re seeing 14.7 I would love to see that data and see why the ones you work on are so much different.

If you are logging your vehicle with some kind of generic PID that references lambda or commanded EQ with a value of 1.0, your device could be converting that to 14.7 on your logger. Which would make more sense.

I used to tune quite a few, but things are slower now as I am not an owner any longer and never was hip on making a business out of it. I recommend customers buy the AEMX OBD2 WB02 and have it installed after the y pipe and use the 12V AUX in the dash to power it.

Ahhh I see. Yeah commanded AFR. Old school.

If it’s anything like the EQ commanded it actually requires a Mopar math formula using FA Desired and FA enrichment as multipliers to get the true value. I don’t have the math handy as I’m riding rides at Busch Gardens with the family on vacation at the moment. Lol

You should only truly see 14.7 end reading at your wideband with E0 fuel. I keep my Ballenger in Lambda though since I’m experimenting with ethanol blends.

EQ from the WB02 is up above. The commanded AFR is a calculated channel I built off of airflow and injector mass and timing commanded.
