I ordered a Curt hitch through Amazon and when it arrived, it was obvious that it had been a customer return, shipped from an Amazon warehouse without original packaging, hardware, or instructions.
I was going to ship it back but decided to give Curt a call to find out how much a hardware pack would cost.
"What's your address? We'll get one right out to you. Free of charge."
Less than a week later, it arrived in the mail.
This attitude of "it's not our fault but it is our problem" made me a fan for life.
