rear window lock spring?

i opened the rear window for the first time.

this fell out when i went to close and lock it.

Any idea how it fits back in?

Mine just fell out last week and I haven't been able to find a youtube video on how to correctly put it back together...did you ever figure it out?

Nope, I never did. I just live with it. It stays latched for the most part.

Okay... maybe when I bring it in for an oil change next time I will have to ask...I put the spring back in so it is flat and follows the bend with the plastic latch, but it definitely doesn't have the same resistance as it should.
