Beautiful weather.
Tried to make a shortcut from Lakeland to E50. I could get in but couldn't get out. Made the most of it.
Had a few close calls but the Rubicon is a beast!
Shout out to the BFG KO2s and Falcon adjustable shocks.
Even with 45lbs of air for most of the trip, the tires slogged through almost effortlessly.
Only had to Nope! my way back out of one trail.
Turkey hunters were out along with a few turkeys who were one step ahead of the man, lol.
So we're my scaly friends.
I believe I finally have what I've been after- a diesel Rubicon with a Mojave ride!
Florida is all about trails, and the combination of 37" tires, 3.5" Skyjacker lift, and Falcon remote reservoir adjustable shocks tamed those potholes like a trip to the mall especially after airing down from 45 to 32. What a ride!
In and out of 4wd the whole time but on the hardpack it was in 2wd when going around a tight turn I heard an old familiar squeaking so I looked down and sure enough! 2WD with the rear lockers engaged!
Sierra Hotel!

Not sure how they stayed engaged coming out of 4WD and they needed coaxing to disengage once back on the blacktop but it was a fun ride for sure and I hope to be able to replicate it in the future.
