Rubicon steel bumper on Overland and parking sensors

Hello, I recently installed the rubicon steel factory bumpers on my Overland trim model. The bumpers come with parking sensors installed. My overland didn't come with sensors. Is it just a software update to enable the parking sensors on the steel bumpers? I couldn't find any existing threads on this.

I'm just guessing here but I think the truck that bumper came from had the safety features installed. If your Overland doesn't have them then you probably don't have the functionality.

Right but if I have the hardware, I would imagine there should be a way to enable that hardware, possibly my guess is through a software update?

I would like to add these as well, I have rear sensors already.

You might try posting in the Programming section for some help with this. If the truck wasn't equipped with the sensors as a factory option, they will need enabled, and wired in to the system. The dealer won't be much help if the option is not available as a dealer add-on.
