High Altitude - https://store.mopar.com/oem-parts/mopar-nvg241-transfer-case-68298655ac
Rubicon - https://store.mopar.com/oem-parts/mopar-nvg241-transfer-case-68298660ac

Besides over 1k in price difference what are the main differences there. Both parts' numbers are for DIESELS. Both have 2H, 4H and 4L.

And while we are on this topic, I wonder why they have never offered 4H Auto in diesels.
Rubicon uses the RockTrac transfer case, It's got a lower low among other things..
Even if the Rubicon has 4H auto, they STILL call it RockTrac but they say "RockTrac full time".

Diesel they say has "too much torque" and yet for the 4xe, the only transfer case you can get is a one with 4H auto. So I'm not sure if that's the whole story - the 4xe has higher torque and HP ratings than the 5.7 hemi.

Can Rubi's RockTrac t-case be fitted on High Altitude? Would it require reprogramming as well or just physical retrofit?

I believe it would require an adapter. If memory serves me right, it has more bolts on the Transmission side. I'm sure it would be easy enough for you to do a search for images. The Low range is a 2.72:1 vs the Rock track's 4.10:1.

I believe the JL breaks are larger on the Rubicon models. Not sure on the JT's. Supposedly the JTR's have the big brake equivalent stock.

I'm also not sure if the driveshafts are the same strength or lengths.
