I am doing this... hope the ink works post 869. Another member has done with success.
Fairly easy and much cheaper. Also being 6'4", my leg placement would be off using a set of steps mounted directly at door level.
You may want to test placement with cinderblocks or wood. I like several running boards, but placement is too high. I need function over looks. Just sharing thoughts I went through.
