do y’all still recommend getting a 2” lift if you plan to take it off-road? I won’t do any wild wheeling, but would like to hit a couple of Jeep Jamborees each year and some mild wheeling. Will I want the lift for that scenario or be fine on 35’s and no lift?

Thanks in advance for the responses. I know it is a similar question, but I have t found the issue addressed directly.

My recommendation is to do the 35s with no lift. If you find yourself limited by your clearance you can add the lift.

I wheel with a guy with a JLU with 35s and no lift and he is able to do some pretty serious trails (which are beyond my comfort zone).

Thank you. That is exactly what I was wanting to hear. I may wheel 4-5 weekends a year, with 10- 12 hunting / fishing trips thrown in, but it will be a daily driver other than that. I like not spending the money on the lift until wheeling turns into an addiction!

I have 35x12.50x17s on my Sport JT and I only rub full lock right or left. Once wheeling my rear touched inner fenders. You have rubi should be fine.

Is that with stock rims and without spacers?
