Have not had much of a problem with my 2020 sport 6sp until I got some crazy noise from the soft top. Upon inspection noticed a ripped cable sticking out of the fabric towards the front when I had the roof slightly opened. Went to the dealer, showed the problem, dealer replaced oil and told me that mechanic adjusted my soft top. After spending 4 hours waiting for them to finish I just left. Came back when they wanted to show me new 2023 truck to see if I wanted to do a trade in, so I scheduled another visit with the service but only for the problem with the roof. Both times I pointed my finger at the ripped cable and last time I told the guy who was handling my service visit that I can show it to the mechanic. Long story short they told me it was $1,100 to fix. I asked for the part number and left. Did not pickup the phone when sales called me :) . At home I checked the part number and it was for tonneau cover. This is at Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Paramus in NJ and they can forget about my business.
Sorry for the long story, now to the fix...
Google for part# 68466049AA-001, get best price for it and order. I paid something like $38 with shipping and taxes.
1. Undo soft top material at the front and the back corners. You will see the cable
2. If your cable broke by the anchor then use some electrical tape and tape one end of the ripped cable to the new one and pull it thru. Or you can use a snake from home depot like the one we use to pull cable.
3. At the back, pop the plastic plug out (the part is going to have a replacement). Wiggle the cable in order to position locking barrel in the right way and remove. Insert the new cable into the same hole and replace the plastic plug.
4. In the front insert the barrel in the slot (check the other side as it could be confusing).
5. Reattach soft top tabs as they were. You are done!
Here is the short crappy video I made for the same. Hope you do not have this problem, but if you do it is easy and cheap to fix.

I noticed my cable is ripped. Do you know if it is the same cable for both the regular soft top and the premium soft top? I have the premium soft top.

I went ahead and ordered the part and it worked for my premium soft top. Thanks for posting the part number and the video with the steps. It was very helpful!

kostik76, thanks for this video and the link. It took me about 15 minutes total to fix the only issue I've had with my 22 soft top.
