If it is just a step that attaches to the Rubi rail....there are a couple makes out there.

If you were making a style that folds up and drops down like pictured, well, that would be awesome.

I'm not sure if many people make similar products, I don't seem to get it. And I don't quite understand why people need it to be folded up, if you want to do some rock climbing, it seems that folding it up can't avoid being squeezed by the rocks, so when should it be folded up?

You could make yours a spring loaded fold-up design with a quick release pin for removal while on the trial. The fold up would allow for a lower step height for entering the Jeep.

The current ones on the market that work with the Rubi rail and drop down look like shit IMO. And the ones that stay level with the Rubi rail aren’t that great as a step for entering the jeep IMO.
