South Florida - Just ordered a Mojave 7% below invoice with Tread Lightly

hey all,

figured i'd share. was going to order and drive back from guptons, koons, etc. all were straight up and good people.

finally found a dealer in south florida willing to deal (arrigo sawgrass) who straight up matched my best deal and added the extra 1% off for tread lightly. ended up with 7% below invoice (>12% of msrp) but need to be part of tread lightly.

they threw in some stuff too. dealer fee still in there but they made up for it with the other stuff (and not having to drive back from tenn, virginia, etc).

the sales guy, Jesse Stauffer, was one of the most honest guys i've encountered in a showroom. no bs and it was a straight and easy transaction. it's been a long process and i waited for the ordering restrictions to ease up (safety options, bed liners, etc). can't say enough good stuff about Jesse and the process.

Very surprised, tried dealing with them in the past and they were an absolute joke. After all of their fees I was better off buying out of state, which I did twice. How much less was your out the door price after taxes and fees from the MSRP of the vehicle?

it was very simple and yes, i tried before with arrigo of west palm and the one in coconut creek. just found the right guy i guess. it was 7% off invoice + sales tax + 995 dealer fee + 450 doc fee. nothing else. they are tinting the front windows too. i would've maybe saved 4 or 500 by buying it out of state, but this is just way easier and i would've spent 100 or so on gas too.
