As the title says I have a Sport S without the max tow package. So my fenders are a single piece. I liked the look of the higher fender so I did a little cutting. I have posted a few topics here and there to troubleshoot as I went but I am done now with the fenders and lights.
I did not want to spend between $140 and $400 to get this look either. So I made my own brackets, bought LED turn/marker lights off ebay, and side marker lights for auto autozone. Ultimately I had to buy a jscan, Bluetooth adapter, and security bypass cable but I am not factoring that into the cost. So all said and done I spent between $70-$75 in total. If I only look at materials used it is probably closer to $65. That amount also include spray rubberized undercoating. So if you are more careful with the fenders it would be cheaper.
I used a Rockwell sonocrafter to cut the fenders. The brakets are 1.5 inch at 1/8 inch angle iron. The bracket to hold the LEDs in is from the front bumper support (so free to me) and it screws into the holes from the original lights. The LEDs I bought are white DRL and amber turn signals. So I just used amber taillight tape to make them always amber.
It took me probably the better part of a day if I did it all at once but as with most things that is with breaks and taking my time.
I included a before picture for reference. Hopefully this helps some others that might have thought of trying this.
